MPhil Theses “The Ancestral and the Ritual territory in Caspana’s Landscape of Movement”

In order to understand to what extent, the indigenous perception of the world is incorporated into land management policies, the indigenous perception of space and the indigenous territorial policies have been explored through various methods. One was cultural mapping over a three-dimensional map, where sacred places, archaeologic sites, resources and other valuable elements of the landscape were located by the community. In addition, examples of policies accounting indigenous spatial organisations such as shared lands and ancient patterns of occupation have been highlighted by the research.
